Imran government under pressure from FATF
Significantly, under pressure from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the Government of Pakistan had issued an arrest warrant against Maulana Masood Azhar, the head of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. Seeing this action on the Chief of Jaish, everyone’s attention is focused on Dawood Ibrahim.

Even after the arrest of Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, the D-Company was feeling troublesome. Sources say that Prime Minister Imran Khan, an old associate of Javed Miandad, who is close to Dawood, hardly takes any action against Dawood. Even before, when its syndicate has come on the radar of the world’s agencies, D-Company has been sending its special members out of Pakistan.
