Afghanistan's Bagram airbase

Kabul: After the US Army withdrew from Afghanistan, the Taliban have once again completely occupied Afghanistan. 20 years ago in Afghanistan, the US Army had prepared its largest base in Bagram Airport with the intention of expelling the Taliban. With the withdrawal of its troops in July, the US also completely evacuated Bagram Air Base. However, now there is a stir once again on this base. Even though the exact information has not been received so far as to who is occupying Bagram, but according to the information received from the sources, China has a hand in it. Let us tell you that a few days ago, Chinese spies were seen doing recce here. If this proves to be true, then it can prove to be dangerous for India.

According to Afghan media agencies, the Bagram Airport, which was America’s largest military base, has once again intensified the movement and after a long time, the lights have been lit here. Till now there is no information about who has come there. A few days ago, a Chinese delegation had secretly visited the airbase. According to intelligence, these people were allegedly collecting evidence and data against the American people. There have also been reports that China, with the help of the Taliban and Pakistan, is preparing an intelligence center here to keep a close watch on any aid given to Uighur Muslims in their Xinjiang province.

Chinese spies had reached Afghanistan via Pakistan. To reach Afghanistan, these spies had chosen the road route so that no one could recognize them at Kabul Airport. India’s concern has increased after the visit of Chinese spies to Bagram airfield. It has been said from India that we have got full information that the Chinese team has visited the Bagram base. If China together with Pakistan made a base there, then it is no less than a big threat to India. This will lead to terrorism and instability in the entire region.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has already expressed concern over the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan. He said India was not taken into confidence in the various dimensions of the Doha Agreement between the US and the Taliban last year and the recent developments in Afghanistan would have very important consequences in the region and beyond. The External Affairs Minister said that at the moment, one of the major concerns for India is whether Afghanistan will have an inclusive government and that country’s land should not be used for terrorism against any other country or the rest of the world.
