Britain makes a point-based rule to issue visas to foreign students

London: The British Government introduced its Points-based new rule in Parliament on Thursday to issue visas to foreign students. This rule will apply to every foreign student coming to the UK for education in the UK.

All foreign students wishing to study in a UK university will need a total of 70 points to get a visa under this new rule. Students will get these points on these basis… If they have an offer for admission in a college or university, they can speak English and they are able to bear their expenses while studying in UK.

The British Ministry of Home Affairs said that in the new system all students would be treated equal. He says that this rule will also be applicable to students coming from Europe after the end of the process of Brexit at the end of the year. Director of the British Council of India Barbara Wickham said the new rule was a good step for thousands of Indian students. This will benefit them.
