Islamabad: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the leader of the opposition party PPP in Pakistan, has been found infected with the Corona Virus. Bilawal Bhutto, the 32-year-old chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and son of Benazir Bhutto, the country’s two-time prime minister, said on Thursday that he had moved into isolation since his infection was confirmed.

Bilawal tweeted, “I have been found infected with Covid-19 and am in isolation. I have minor symptoms of the disease. I will continue to work from home and address the PPP Foundation Day program via video link. ”

After his political secretary Jamil Soomro was found infected, he decided to keep himself away from political activities on Wednesday. In Pakistan, meanwhile, 3,306 new cases of corona virus have been confirmed in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 3,86,198 on Thursday.

The health ministry said 40 more people had died due to the disease. The death toll has reached 7,843. He said that the number of patients undergoing treatment for the infection in the country is 43,963.
