Kabul: Taliban leader Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai has given a big statement about the relations between India and Pakistan. Stanikzai said that India and Pakistan should not use Afghanistan in their internal affairs. Stanikzai is believed to be handling foreign affairs under the Taliban government in Kabul. In an exclusive interview with CNN, Stanikzai said that the Taliban wants better relations with all its neighbors.

Asked about the possibility of the Taliban government having a prejudicial enmity towards India or targeting India in collusion with Pakistan, Stanikzai said that “some of the news that comes in the media is wrong.” We have never made such a statement and any such indication has been given from our side. We want good relations with our neighboring countries.

The Taliban leader said he was aware of the long-running geographical and political dispute between India and Pakistan, but the Taliban hoped that Afghanistan would not be used in the internal affairs of the two countries. “We hope they will not use Afghanistan for their internal affairs,” Stanikzai said. There is a long boundary between them. Both the countries can fight on their border. But, they should not use Afghanistan for this and we will not allow any country to use our land for this.

Earlier, Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen had said that the Taliban had never had any complaints with India’s development project in Afghanistan, but India’s opposition by the Taliban was because New Delhi supported the Ashraf Ghani government of Kabul.

On the development work carried out by India in Afghanistan in the last 20 years from roads to dams and even parliament buildings and fears that the Taliban will stop bilateral trade, Shaheen said that projects related to the interest of the Afghan people should be completed. should be done if that construction is still incomplete.

The spokesman said, “In the last 20 years, we have wanted all the countries of the world like India to have their relations with the people of Afghanistan. At the same time, these countries should also understand the wishes of the Afghan people that they want their country free, free from external forces. This was our agenda and stand. We have always said that no one should stand with the puppet government of Afghanistan but they should support the people of Afghanistan.
