Washington: Gordon Liddy, the host of the radio talk show, died after the Watergate Scandal kingpin and release from Jail in America. He was 90 years old. His son Thomas Liddy confirmed his death on Tuesday but did not make public the reason behind the death. The statement only stated that his death was not due to Covid-19. Liddy was a former FBI agent and had also served in the military. He was convicted in the Watergate scandal in connection with the conspiracy, burglary, and illegal surveillance and wiretapping in connection with obtaining information.

President Richard Nixon had to resign because of the incident. Liddy remained in prison for four years and four months and spent 100 days in solitude. Laddie has been a controversial figure working under Nixon. He recommended killing political rivals, throwing bombs on a left-wing think tank, and even kidnapping protesters against the war.

Such ideas were ignored by his White House colleagues. His conspiracy of burglary was approved in June 1972 at the Watergate building, the headquarters of the Democratic Party, but the incident came to light and investigations began after that. This incident led to Nixon resigning in 1974.

After serving a prison sentence in burglary cases, Liddy began to host popular and controversial radio talk shows. He also worked as a security consultant, writer and actor.
