Beijing: On the issue of Afghanistan, India has called an important conference of security advisors of all countries under the leadership of National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval in Delhi on 10 November. China has also decided not to attend after the Taliban’s helper Pakistan refused to attend this conference. In such a situation, in this meeting to be held on Wednesday, except China-Pakistan, national security advisors of all Central Asian countries including Russia and Iran will be involved. China said that it would not be able to participate in this meeting due to scheduling issues.

Earlier, neighboring Pakistan has also refused to participate in the meeting. His invitation to this meeting was confirmed by the Foreign Office of Pakistan itself. At the same time, when Pakistan’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Moeed Yusuf was asked whether he would attend the meeting to be hosted by India? In response, Yusuf said, ‘I will not go. I’m not going. A disruptor (country), cannot be a peace-breaker.’ On this statement of Pakistan, India has said that it is unfortunate, but not surprising.

These countries including Russia and Iran will be involved
Sources also believe that National Security Advisors of all Central Asian countries including Russia and Iran will attend this conference. In such a situation, it is clear that all these countries know this and also believe that India’s role is very important in the context of Afghanistan. All countries want to move forward only under a common strategy with India.

New security challenges arise for many countries including Tajikistan
The deteriorating situation in Afghanistan, human rights violations, the status of women and children, rising security threats in and around Central Asia and neighboring countries have created new security challenges for many countries including Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Last month, Russia hosted a meeting on Afghanistan, in which India was invited. Security and other aspects were also discussed in detail in the Moscow format meeting on Afghanistan.
