Washington: A group of two powerful US senators has criticized Chinese aggression towards India by placing a resolution in the Senate on Thursday. The goal of Chinese aggression against India was to change the position of the Line of Actual Control between the two countries. The proposal by Republican Whip Senator John Cornyn of the majority party in the Senate and Senator Mark Warner, ranking member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, came after Chinese military activities in eastern Ladakh by China.
Cornyn and Warner are co-chairs of the Senate India Caucus. Cornyn said, “As the co-founder of the Senate India Caucus, I am clearly aware of the importance of strong ties between the United States and India.” The Senator said, “I praise India’s commitment to stand against China and keep the Indo-Pacific region independent.” It is now more important than ever that we support our Indian partners because they are defending against Chinese aggression. ”
