New Delhi: The central government has said that the ban on international flights will continue till March 31. The Director-General of Civil Aviation i.e.DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) gave this information in a circular on Friday. Earlier, the duration of the ban on international flights was increased to 28 February 2021.
The DGCA statement said that however, international schedule flights may be allowed on a case-to-case basis by the competent authority on select routes. However, DGCA has said that this ban will not apply to international all-cargo operations and flights with special permission.
Please tell that due to Corona virus epidemic, regular international passenger airline is suspended from 23 March. However, under the Vande Bharat Abhiyan and the Air Bubble System, special international flights are allowed for certain countries from May. India has entered into an air bubble agreement with 27 countries including the US, UK, Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Bhutan and France.
