New Delhi: Today i.e. on October 2, where the 152nd birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi (Gandhi Jayanti 2021) is being celebrated across the country. In this sequence, today in the Union Territory of Ladakh, Gandhi Jayanti has been celebrated in a very special way. Yes, on the occasion of Bapu’s birth anniversary, the largest tricolor flag of hand-made Khadi has been hoisted in Leh on Saturday. Let us tell you that this tricolor was installed on the Janskar hill of Leh.

On this occasion, Ladakh LG RK Mathur inaugurated and installed the world’s largest Khadi national flag in Leh. During this, Army Chief General MM Naravane was also present from the chief on the spot. Talking about this national flag of Khadi, it is 225 feet long and 150 feet wide, while its weight is about 1400 kg. This beautiful and best national flag has been prepared by the 57 Engineer Regiment of the Army based in Mumbai.
