Mumbai: The first season of the Women’s Premier League, 2023 begins on 4 March. The first match of the first season will be between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants at DY Patil Stadium. This match will start at 7:30 pm.

Significantly, the captain of the Mumbai Indians team will be Harmanpreet Kaur and in front of her will be Gujarat Giants captain Beth Mooney. Harmanpreet Kaur was bought cheaply by Mumbai Indians. She was bought for Rs 1.80 crore. The most expensive player of Mumbai Indians was England’s Nat Sciver Brunt, who was bought by the franchise for Rs 3.20 crore.
