New Delhi: Coronavirus figures are increasing rapidly in India. However, the news of relief among them is that the recovery rate in India is 64.44 percent. Scientists say that more than 30 percent of people have been infected in New Delhi and adjoining districts, which will lead to herd immunity in three months. It is believed that before the vaccine, most people will have had antibodies to the Covid-19 virus, so a large number of people will not need the vaccine.

Speaking on herd immunity, OSD of the Ministry of Health, Rajesh Bhushan said that herd immunity is made either through vaccine or through antibodies. That is, people have been cured after the first illness. Becoming herd immunity is very complicated for a country like India. Therefore it is not possible to use herd immunity.

Herd Immunity

What is herd immunity?
For your information, let us know that if a disease spreads in a large part of the world or a country and the immunity of human beings helps to prevent the spread of infection of that disease, then those who fight the disease will be completely cured. Are, they become ‘immune’ from that disease, that is, they develop immunological properties. In them, competent anti-bodies are prepared to compete with the virus.
According to health experts, herd immunity is effective in preventing infection. When 80 percent of people are immunized, 20 percent of people do not get the infection. Similarly, if these 20 percent of people get corona infection under any adverse circumstances then it will not reach the remaining 80 percent because they are already immune. In this case, the process of spread of viral infection stops and the chances of getting rid of the epidemic increases.
