New Delhi: After the country’s Home Minister Amit Shah and many other big leaders, now the Coronavirus report of Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu has also come positive. The Vice President’s office has given information about this by tweeting. The tweet said, ‘The Vice President conducted regular COVID-19 investigations on Tuesday morning, in which his report has come positive. However, he is healthy and has an untreated infection. He is in-home quarantine. Vice President’s wife Usha Naidu has also been tested corona. His report has come negative and he is currently in self-isolation.

Naidu calls on the private sector to develop modern health services in rural areas
Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday called for making better quality health services accessible and affordable for all. He also urged the private sector to promote the development of modern facilities in rural areas of the country. He said this while addressing an event organized by FICCI. The Vice President said that the private sector can come forward and expand itself in these areas through Public-Private Partnership (PPP). Emphasizing the need to harness the potential of every stakeholder in the country, he called for strengthening the healthcare delivery system.

Naidu requested the private sector to take maximum advantage of the ‘self-reliance’ campaign to increase production of other health equipment including state-of-the-art and advanced equipment. He also pointed out that the Kovid-19 epidemic has also taught people to be more vigilant about health.

Addressing an event organized by the Federation of Indian Commerce and Industry (FICCI) on ‘Global health after the Kovid period’, Naidu said that returning to old habits should also be like a new beginning. He said, ‘Our ancestors have taught us to eat nutritious food. We should avoid fast food and random eating habits.
