New Delhi: US court has now approved the extradition of 26/11 Mumbai attack accused Tahawwur Hussain Rana to India. Strategically, this is a big victory for India. Be aware that Rana is a Canadian businessman of Pakistani origin.

Even before this, the Indian authorities had demanded an inquiry from Rana into the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Officials said that Rana was also involved in that attack. NIA is probing this matter. On the other hand, on Wednesday, May 17, the court issued a 48-page order. The court also agreed that Rana’s extradition is justified. From the reasons presented by India, it seems that there is a special need to interrogate Rana. In such a situation, soon Rana will be in the prison of Indian law.
