Uproar over farm laws triggered proceedings of both houses, adjourned without discussion

New Delhi: The Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned till yesterday after the opposition protested against the farm laws. The Lok Sabha proceedings which started in the second shift were postponed thrice after the uproar by the opposition. In the lower house meeting that started after adjournment for the third time, the opposition parties raised slogans to withdraw the farm laws, after which the house was adjourned till Wednesday. Earlier, due to uproar in Rajya Sabha (Rajyasabha), the House had to be adjourned several times.

After the postponement of the Upper House meeting again, the opposition members continued to create a ruckus and shouted slogans. Deputy Chairman Harivansh once again appealed to the House to run smoothly and urged the members to join the discussion on the Presidential address tomorrow.
