Late Monday night, a BMW car driven by Madhuri, daughter of Rajya Sabha MP Beda Mastan Rao from the YSR Congress Party, fatally struck a 24-year-old painter named Surya as he slept on the footpath in Besant Nagar.
Despite efforts to save him, Surya succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The incident has sparked outrage among the local community, especially since Madhuri was able to secure bail directly from the police station following her arrest.
