Nainital(U.P): Tonight is a chance to see the beautiful view of the Meteor Shower i.e. the rain of meteors. 60 to 200 burning meteors can be seen per hour in this incident on Monday night. This amazing astronomical event can be seen till 12 January. Meteor showers have started for the first time of the year. Sky fireworks will remain at their peak on Monday.
According to Aryabhatta Observational Science Research Institute (Arise) Nainital astronomer Dr. Shashibhushan Pandey, this meteor shower has started from December 28, which can be seen till January 12. This is a normal astronomical event. Now the next meteor shower will be seen in April. The meteorite is commonly called star rupture, while in reality when the debris of metal, dust, and particles released by a comet collides with the earth’s atmosphere, it burns and this firework scene becomes a meteor.
To get a better view of this astronomical event one has to go to the dark places away from the light. Astrophotographers capture this incident on camera from such quiet and dark places.
