New Delhi: Indian Railways is going to close the telephonic attendant-cum-dak khalasis -TADKs, which has been running since the time of the British. Also, the appointment of Railway Bangalow Peon will also not be done now. Bungalow Pion works at the house of railway officials. The Railway Board has banned his new appointment. The Railway Board has issued an order related to it on 6 August. Many arrangements are still in the era of the British. Bungalows take the facility of Pion as long as most railway officials work. These officers get the person of their choice to get a job on the railway in the name of Bungalow Pion. Two or three years he stays at Sahab’s bungalow, then he gets posting in place of his choice a new bungalow near Sahab.
What is the new order of Railway Board- Railway Board is also reviewing the post of Telephone Attendant cum Post Khalasi (Telephone attendant-cum-dak khalasis -TADKs). The issue regarding the appointment of the postmaster is subject to review in Railway Board therefore, it has been decided that there will not be a new appointment as a postman.
The order further states that from July 1, 2020, all the cases approved for such appointments can be reviewed and the board can be advised. This can be strictly followed in all railway establishments.
