Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel has surrounded the BJP leaders and asked them questions. He said, “The families of many BJP leaders have got married in another religion. I want to ask those BJP leaders whether these marriages also fall under the definition of love jihad? ‘
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has also shared a video on his Twitter account. With this, he has written that ‘I would like to ask the BJP leaders.’ After this, in the video, he is seen questioning the BJP and its leaders.
Earlier, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had targeted the BJP over ‘Love Jihad’. He had said, “This word has been coined by BJP to divide the country and spoil communal harmony.” After this, BJP leaders also retaliated against Gehlot’s statement. BJP leaders had accused Gehlot of doing vote bank politics.
Ashok Gehlot tweeted in this regard. In it, he wrote, “The word love jihad has been coined by BJP to divide the country and spoil communal harmony. Marriage is a matter of personal freedom which it is completely unconstitutional to legislate to curb and it will not stand in any court. Jihad has no place in love. ‘
