New Delhi: Amidst the ongoing upheaval in the politics of Maharashtra, the big news has come for CM Eknath Shinde in the Supreme Court hearing today. The Supreme Court has sent information from the Solicitor General to the Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. The court told the solicitor that, until the petition is decided by the Supreme Court, the Speaker has not to take any decision on the disqualification case of 16 MLAs. News agency ANI reported that the Supreme Court asked the Solicitor General to inform the Speaker of the Maharashtra Assembly not to take any decision until the petition is decided by the Supreme Court. Chief Justice N. A bench of Justice V. Ramana, Justice Krishna Murari, and Justice Hima Kohli took note of the representation filed by senior advocate Kapil Sibal.
