New Delhi: Indian Railways is going to provide special gifts to the devotees of Lord Rama even in the transition period of Corona. Tourists will get a chance to visit Ayodhya, Prayagraj and Chitrakoot shrines through this Shri Ram Path Yatra train which is going to start from Dehradun from December 12.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) announced this special train. In view of the demand of passengers, IRCTC has decided to run special tourist train Shriram Patra Yatra this time. It can be booked from IRCTC’s website.

Visits to Ayodhya, Prayagraj and Chitrakoot will be:
Apart from Dehradun, passengers will be able to board the train from Haridwar, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Hathras, Tundla and Etawah stations. In this yatra, devotees will be able to see the evening Aarti on Ramjanma Bhoomi, Hanuman Garhi as well as Saryu beach in Ayodhya. You will be able to see Bharat Temple in Nandigram, Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, Hanuman Temple and Bhardwaj Ashram. Along with the darshan of Sringwerpur Dham, the pilgrims will get to visit Mandakani river, Ramghat, Sati Ansuiya temple, Gupta Godavari and Hanuman stream in Chitrakoot.

Fee Rs. 5670 per person:
The journey will be of 5 nights and 6 days. The fare for this train with sleeper coach will be Rs 5,670 per passenger. There will be non AC buses from the station to the tourist destinations. There will also be tour guides and security guards during the trip.

What will be in the package:
Travel in this package will be in the sleeper class. Vegetarian food will be provided in this package. Accommodation will be arranged in non-AC hospices.

Guidelines issued by the Department of Health in the wake of corona infection will be followed. Special attention will be paid to sanitation and safety during travel.
