Mumbai: The pair of Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi will be seen sharing the screen together for the first time in the film ‘Selfie’. Both the actors are very excited about this film. The film also stars Diana Penty and Nushrat Bharucha in lead roles. According to the information received, this Akshay-Emraan starrer is the official remake of the 2019 Malayalam blockbuster Driving License starring Prithviraj Sukumaran-Sooraj Venjaramudu.
As per the Pinkvilla report, while Akshay plays a superstar in this suspense thriller, Emraan will play the role of a cop who will be a big fan of the player. The battle of ego between two powerful people is shown in this film. Hope the audience will like this film.
Meanwhile, the release date of Selfie has been revealed. It will hit the silver screens on February 24, 2023. The makers issued an official statement saying that ‘Selfie’ from Dharma Productions, Prithviraj Productions, Magic Frames, and Cape of Good starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi along with Diana Penty and Nushrat Bharucha will now release on February 24, 2023. Selfie is produced by Johar’s Dharma Productions and Kumar’s Cape of Good Films in association with Sukumaran’s Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames.
