New Delhi: Major action has been taken in the case of the security lapse of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. In this case, three commandos of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) have been dismissed on Wednesday. Along with this, a DIG and an officer of the rank of Commandant have been transferred. Let us tell you that in February this year, there was negligence in the security of NSA Ajit Doval, during which a car reached the gate of his house.

It is to be known that NSA Doval has a ‘Z plus’ category security under the Central VIP Security List, this security cover is provided to him by the SSG unit of CISF.

The punitive action has been taken following the Court of Inquiry set up by the CISF for the February 16 incident. In this, a total of five officers were convicted for the incident and Karvy was recommended against them.

An official said that three commandos of the Special Protection Group (SSG) have been dismissed from service. At the same time, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of this VVIP security unit and a senior commandant of the rank of his second commandant have been transferred.

Security lapse of NSA Ajit Doval

The security lapse occurred at around 7.30 am on February 16 when a man from Bengaluru had reached Doval’s high-security home in central Delhi with his car. The three commandos who were sacked were present on the spot at that time. The man was stopped outside the residence and handed over to Delhi Police.
