SBI ropes in MS Dhoni as its brand ambassador to inspire trust and leadership

New Delhi: Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) has joined hands with State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest public sector lender, as its brand ambassador. The bank announced this partnership in a statement on Monday, saying that Dhoni will play a key role in various marketing and promotional campaigns across the country.

SBI said that Dhoni’s association with the bank reflects its commitment to building deeper relationships with its customers and stakeholders based on the values of reliability and leadership. The bank praised Dhoni’s remarkable ability to maintain composure in stressful situations and his renowned ability to think clearly and make quick decisions under pressure, which make him the ideal choice to represent SBI.

Dhoni, who retired from international cricket in 2020, is one of the most successful captains in the history of the sport. He is the only captain to have won all three major ICC trophies – the T20 World Cup in 2007, the ODI World Cup in 2011, and the Champions Trophy in 2013. He is also widely regarded as one of the world’s greatest wicketkeeper batsmen and captains.
