Samsung is set to launch its new Galaxy A55 smartphone in the global market next month. The phone is expected to offer 5G connectivity, a powerful Exynos 1480 chipset, and a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Display and Design

The Samsung Galaxy A55 will feature a 6.6-inch full HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) AMOLED screen with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The phone will have a sleek and elegant design with four color options: ice blue, navy, purple and white. The phone will also have an IP67 rating, which means it will be resistant to dust and water.

Performance and Software

The Samsung Galaxy A55 will be powered by the company’s own Exynos 1480 chipset, which is a 5nm octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.8GHz. The phone will come in two RAM and storage variants: 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The phone will run on Android 14 based One UI 6.1 out-of-the-box, which will offer a smooth and user-friendly interface.

The phone will be launched in Germany on March 11 along with the Samsung Galaxy A35, and the price of the phone will be EUR 449 (approximately Rs 40,300). There is no official information about the launch date and price of the phone in India.
