Bhopal: After the expansion of the Shivraj cabinet, portfolios were also distributed among the ministers this morning. The department which was given to the minister Bisahulal Singh, who changed the party from Congress and joined BJP , now he has been made Food Minister. During the Kamalnath government, he was accused of taking ration out of the rights of the poor.

Allegation on Bisahulal Singh
Bisahulal Singh, who was a Congress MLA during the Kamal Nath government, was accused of defying the ration of the poor. An RTI activist accused Congress MLA Bisahulal Singh and his family of taking wheat and rice at the rate of Re 1 per kg to BPL families under the Annapurna Scheme. According to the information received through RTI, Congress leader Bisahulal Singh was taking ration for the poor since 2013. However, on those allegations, Bisahulal Singh said that his family is financially capable. He never took ration for the share of people living below the poverty line.

Today, when the food department is handed over to Bisahulal Singh, it is bound to raise the question of the Congress. Bisahulal Singh has been given the responsibility of food civil supply and consumer protection in the distribution of departments in the Shivraj government today. Bhupendra Gupta, vice-president of the Congress Media Department has asked the government that when Bisahulal was our MLA, you accused him of taking ration from BPL. His ration card was shown, then you made him the food minister in your cabinet, why? Democracy runs in shame, people will answer.

Bisahulal Singh was angered by not being made a minister in the Kamal Nath government. He switched sides with the supporters of Scindia and joined the BJP. Instead, he was made a minister in the Shivraj government. After being made a minister, Bisahulal Singh has been given the important responsibility of the Food and Civil Supplies Department. But now the Congress is questioning his responsibility.
