Jabalpur: The election of Rajya Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia has been challenged in the High Court of Jabalpur. The election petition filed on behalf of former minister Govind Singh has demanded that Jyotiraditya Scindia’s Rajya Sabha Elections be declared void.

In the election petition filed in the High Court, it has been said that Jyotiraditya Scindia has violated the rules in the Rajya Sabha elections. Jyotiraditya Scindia has not followed the rules in the election process. Criminal cases have been hidden in Scindia’s nomination filed for the Rajya Sabha election. The petition said that in the year 2018, an FIR was filed against Kamal Nath, Digvijay Singh, and Jyotiraditya Scindia at Shyamala Hills police station in Bhopal, which was also publicly accepted by Jyotiraditya Scindia. But now he is not in the Congress and has been elected a Rajya Sabha MP from BJP. But in his nomination, Jyotiraditya Scindia has hidden the case, which is a clear violation of the rules. In such a situation, Jyotiraditya Scindia’s Rajya Sabha election should be declared void. At present, the election petition has been filed in the High Court. The matter will now be heard soon.
