PM Modi, Mamta, Poonawalla among 100 influential people of the world

New Delhi: American magazine Time has named West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Serum Institute CEO Adar Poonawalla, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the top 100 influential list of the world’s 100 influential people in the year 2021. This list of Time is divided into 6 categories, which include Pioneer, Artist, Leader, Icon, Titan, and Innovator. People from all over the world have been included in each category.

This list of Time magazine is considered to be very reliable all over the world. Every entry in this list is taken by the editors after a lot of research. Taliban co-founder Abdul Ghani Baradar is also included in Time’s list of 100 influential figures released on Wednesday. Apart from this, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Xi Jinping, and former US President Donald Trump are also named in the list.

Last year also Modi’s name was included in the list
Last year too, Time had given place to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the list of 100 influential people of the world. Indian people included in this list last year included Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, HIV researcher Ravinder Gupta and Bilkis who was involved in the Shaheen Bagh dharna.
