Here, the court has also commented on the situation in Delhi. According to media reports, the High Court has said that patients from many other states are also reaching for treatment in the capital. No patient can be denied treatment. There have been reports of lack of oxygen in Mumbai including Delhi and many other parts of the country. At present, measures like Oxygen Express and new plant are being taken to overcome this shortage.


Center gave these answers

During the hearing, the Solicitor General, who arrived on behalf of the Central Government, has said that the government is with Delhi. He has argued that like other states of India, the people of Delhi are equally important for the center. He said that the supply of any other state cannot be reduced to meet the demand coming from the state. He told that there is a demand of 700 MT in Delhi, the answer of which is being raised to 330-340 MT. The Solicitor General has described this supply as sufficient in the current situation.

At the same time, the High Court has also questioned the center why the figure is still stalled at 480 MT. On this, the Center has said that supply is being increased. The High Court has told the Center that people are dying every day, in such a situation you have to do something. Delhi High Court says that patients are facing trouble, beds in the hospital are empty because there is no oxygen. In such a situation, you will have to solve the problem. The court has asked the Center how it is up to you to resolve the matter. During this time, the court also questioned the oxygen supply being sent to Maharashtra.
