Patna: The Bihar government has taken a big decision amid the growing scope of the Corona epidemic. After meeting with top officials, the Nitish government has decided to lockdown once again in Bihar. Taking a big decision regarding the prevention of corona, the entire lockdown has been done once again. After this, there will be a total lockdown in Bihar from 16 to 31 July. However, all emergency services will continue smoothly during this period.

The Bihar government took this decision on Tuesday after a meeting of the Crisis Management Group (CMG) chaired by Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar. Prior to the decision, the Chief Secretary held a review meeting with the district officials of all the districts through video conferencing. Civil surgeons of all the districts were also present in this meeting. Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi gave information about the implementation of the lockdown.

Significantly, there was complete lockdown in the entire country including Bihar from the night of 24 March to 31 May. After this, Unlock-1 was implemented in June and then Unlock-2 in July, but during this time the corona infection increased, after which the state government had to decide the precautionary lockdown again.

Corona’s havoc continues in Bihar
Let us know that the total number of infected people has reached 17421 till two and a half hours on Tuesday afternoon. Of which 12364 people have become healthy. While 134 people have died. That is, the number of active patients is still 4923 in Bihar. While 14,330 Kovids were positive in Bihar on the afternoon of 10 July. But on July 13, according to health department data, the number of infected people increased to 17,421. At the same time, 23 people died between 10 and 13 July, including two doctors.
