
Bengaluru: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is always in the news for her simplicity and simple ways. The latest case is about the marriage ceremony of daughter Parakala Vangamayi. Nirmala Sitharaman’s daughter Parakala took seven rounds of marriage on 7th June. The wedding ceremony was held at her house in Bangalore. The marriage took place in a very simple manner in which only family members attended. No political personality or VVIP attended the wedding.
According to a report published in NDTV, the marriage of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s daughter Parakala Wangmayi has been concluded with the symbol of Gujarat. This marriage took place in a very simple and simple way in which no VVIP or VIP nor any political personality was involved. Although this marriage ceremony took place at her house only. But some reports have claimed that the wedding ceremony was organized in a hotel in Bangalore.
According to sources, only family and a few friends were present during the wedding. No political personality was invited to the ceremony. Parakala’s marriage with Prateeksha was solemnized according to Hindu tradition with the blessings of the saints of the Udupi Adamaru Mutt. Sitharaman’s daughter Wangmayi is a feature writer. She holds a master’s degree from the Department of English, University of Delhi. She has also studied journalism at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

Earlier, in September 2019, the Union Minister shared an old picture with Parakala on Daughters’ Day. In a tweet, he described Parakala as a friend, philosopher, and guide. For this special occasion, the bride wore a pink saree and paired it with a green blouse. The groom wore a white punch and shawl. The bride’s mother Sitharaman wore a Molakalmuru saree.
