“Our request to license F-15EX aircraft to India has been accepted by the US government,” Lane said. In April 2019, the Indian Air Force issued a ‘Request for Information’ or initial tender for the acquisition of 114 aircraft at a cost of around $ 18 billion, which was described as the world’s largest military procurement in recent years. Boeing said that the F-15EX aircraft will be showcased at Aero India 2021 starting next week in Bengaluru.
