New Delhi: Naxalites near Giridah in Jharkhand have blown up the railway track by blasting it. As soon as the news of this incident was received, the movement of trains on the Howrah-Gaya-Delhi rail route was stopped. While the route of some trains has been changed.

It is to be known that according to the information received by the railway, the patrolman told the station master of Chichaki that at 00.34 pm, there was a blast between Karamabad-Chichaki station located in the Dhanbad division. Following this news, the movement on the incoming and outgoing route on the Gomo-Gaya (GC) rail section of the Howrah-Delhi rail route was stopped keeping in view the immediate security concerns.

It may be noted that the Dhanbad-Dehri On Sone Express has been canceled after this incident. While the routes of many trains have been changed. In which many trains including Howrah- Jodhpur Express, Howrah- Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Express, Kalka- Howrah Express, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus- Howrah Express, New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express are included.
