Longewala: Giving a clear message to India’s enemies, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that if India was tried, a stern response would be given. Addressing the jawans at the advance post, Modi targeted China without naming them and said that today the whole world is disturbed by “expansionist” forces. Expansionism is, in a way, a “mental disorder” and reflects 18th century thinking. He said that India is also becoming a strong voice against this thinking. Read the 10 highlights of his address …
The Prime Minister also targeted Pakistan, saying that today India kills terrorists and their mentors by breaking into their homes. This is being seen in the context of aerial and surgical strikes against terrorist camps in the neighboring country.

He said, “The history of the world tells us that only those nations have been safe, only those nations have moved forward which had the capacity to fight the invaders.” He told the soldiers, “I salute your bravery. Today, 130 crore people of India stand firmly with you. Today every Indian is proud of the strength and bravery of his soldiers. They are proud of your invincibility. “
