New Delhi: The Ministry of Defense (Defense Ministry) has received some complaints about the depiction of Indian Army soldiers and military uniforms in the film and web series. Following this complaint, the Ministry of Defense has formally asked the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), MEITY) and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to ask the production house before airing a film/documentary/web series on the Indian Army. Get NOC from the Ministry of Defense. Without NOC, films made on the Indian Army and its scenes will not be broadcast.

The Central Board of Film Certification and the Ministry of Information Broadcasting have also been told by the Ministry of Defense that all this is being done to prevent incidents that tarnish the image of the defense forces and hurt the sentiments of defense personnel and veterans. Huh.

Armed forces image shown poorly
In the complaint received from the Ministry of Defense, it has been said that series like the web series Code M and G5’s XX Uncensored (season-2) broadcast on ALT Balaji have shown some scenes about the army which are far from reality.
Not only this, the scenes shown in the series of the army show a bad image of the armed forces. Some concerned civilians and ex-servicemen organizations have also filed FIRs against ALT Balaji, who are demanding legal action against the manufacturer and the OTT platform.
