Medical system disrupted in Bihar due to strike of junior doctors, more than 100 operations postponed in PMCH

Patna: Bihar Junior Doctor Strike continues in the sixth day also. The health strike of Bihar is being affected by the doctors’ strike. The PMCH (PMCH), the largest hospital in the state, is now disturbing the fascination of the patients, while the admitted patients are being treated with God’s trust. The number of new patients has started coming down due to the strike because the hospital is not dealing with only senior doctors. So far more than 100 operations have been postponed at PMCH Hospital in Patna.

Meanwhile, junior doctors of the state have given an ultimatum of the cross-border battle and are talking about being on strike till the stipend is not increased. The strike from junior doctors is troubling patients from OPD to Emergency, but the government is watching the spectacle. Alam is that even senior doctors have become careless and are not reaching duty on time. When the News18 team reached the General Surgery ward of PMCH at 9:30 pm during the OPD, the doctors’ chamber was empty and a large number of patients were waiting for the doctor.

Many such poor and forced patients were found who are wandering for treatment and are not getting treatment. Surprisingly, the OPD time starts from 9 am, but even senior doctors did not appear prompt during the strike. Where patients expressed their pain, the hospital workers were seen chubby.
