New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki Invicto is going to enter the Indian market soon. Its sale in the Indian market will start in the next month i.e. July 2023. At the same time, the booking of this car will start from 19 July 2023. This will be the third MPV in Maruti Suzuki’s portfolio. It is believed that this could be the most expensive booking of the company.

Its price is expected to be more than 20 lakh rupees. It is a rebadged version of the Toyota Highcross. Through this car, the company will target both MPV and SUV buyers. Before Invicto, the company’s models like Ertiga and XL 6 are on sale. Like the Grand Vitara, the new Maruti MPV will be manufactured at Toyota’s Bidadi plant.

Great features
Based on Toyota’s TNGA-C architecture, the Invicto will come with 183bhp, 2.0L Strong Hybrid, and 173bhp, 2.0L petrol powertrains. While the second model will be available with an e-CVT gearbox, the latter will get a CVT automatic transmission. Interestingly, the Maruti Invicto will be the first automatic-only model from the brand. Dimension-wise, the new Maruti MPV will be similar to the Innova Highcross. However, many major changes will be seen in its exterior. The latest spy images reveal that the model will get a trapezoidal grille with a chrome bar, a differently designed front bumper, LED DRLs, and alloy wheels.
