New Delhi: Where on one hand Indian pistol shooter Manu Bhaker, who failed this time in Tokyo Olympics, has returned to the country from Tokyo. But she promised that she would make a strong comeback from a disappointing performance in her first Olympics. Along with this, making a sensational allegation, this 19-year-old prolific shooter Manu said that his preparations for the Olympics were definitely affected due to the dispute with former coach Jaspal Rana.

Sensational allegation of Manu Bhaker on Jaspal Rana
In fact, according to him, Rana had asked him to withdraw his name from the 25m pistol event. On this issue, the shooter Manu told at the Indira Gandhi airport that, “I will continue shooting in the 25-meter event.” Simultaneously, Youth Olympic and Commonwealth Games gold medalist Manu said the negativity and her tussle with Rana apart from her desire to win a medal at all costs made the situation worse.

Along with this, Manu also alleged that he was repeatedly asked to withdraw his name from the 25m event. Because his ‘level is not that good in this.’ Know that Manu had achieved this quota of Tokyo Olympics during the ISSF World Cup in Munich.

He also said that “Yes, there was negativity as my parents were also forced to be involved in this whole matter. It was because of the negativity that I was asked why is my mother with me in Bhopal (during practice and trials) and why is my father with me?” Apart from this, there were also some technical problems which the former coach ‘did not solve’. He also clarified that he had not sent any message to Rana during the ISSF World Cup in Delhi in March this year. He said the message was sent by his mother who was “worried” about her daughter.

Message to Rana- ‘Ab toh mil gayi na Tasalli’
After Manu won the bronze medal, Rana got the message, ‘Ab to mil gayi na tasalli’. Rana then reached the Karni Singh shooting complex with this message on the back of his white T-shirt, forcing the National Rifle Association of India to intervene. Manu said considering the circumstances, NRAI and its president Raninder Singh, with the Games approaching, appointed former India shooter Raunak Pandit as their coach and tried whatever solution was possible.

“NRAI tried its best to solve this problem and they took us into confidence too,” he said. Manu said that he has learned a lot from the first Olympics experience which will come in handy in the future. He said, “I have definitely gained a lot of experience. Hope this will help me to improve my preparation and performance in the future. I am young and have a long career ahead. I tried my best this time too.” He said that with this experience, she will be able to face difficult situations in a better way in the future.
