Most active cases in these states
Maharashtra has the most active cases in the country. More than 1.5 lakh infected people are being treated in hospitals in Maharashtra. It is followed by Tamil Nadu at number two, Delhi at number three, Gujarat at number four and West Bengal at number five. These five states have the most active cases.

Highest deaths in August
The maximum corona killed 28 thousand 887 people in 31 days of August. Earlier, 36 thousand 548 people died in July and 17 thousand 410 people in June. In August, 9 thousand 589 patients died in Maharashtra.
