In this meeting held between the US-India 2 + 2 Ministerial Dialogue, the two sides welcomed the opportunity to discuss the US-India wide global strategic partnership. He also welcomed the closeness that has come in various dimensions of the relationship. According to a statement issued by the State Department, the US underscored the importance of India’s status as a ‘significant defense partner’, cooperation between the armies and other defense priorities.
