India should continue long-term investment in health infrastructure: WEF

Mumbai: President of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Borge Brende on Saturday said that India should continue with long-term investment in health-related infrastructure and ensure regular health services despite the Coronavirus crisis. He also said that India needs to carefully adjust spending and attract industrial investment amid the Covid-19 crisis.

In an award ceremony organized by Priyadarshini Academy, the WEF President said, “This historic crisis is a serious economic and social outlook, it also has lessons and opportunities.” In the long term, India should continue to invest in health infrastructure and ensure continuity of regular health services, it must carefully adjust expenses and attract industrial investment. ”
