The bank has asked customers to be very careful while logging into the bank’s website because by creating a website similar to the bank’s website, fraudsters can steal your account’s personal information and withdraw money from your account. IDBI was a government bank, formed in the country in 1964. LIC had bought a 51 percent stake in IDBI by investing Rs 21000 crore. Recently the National Payment Corporation of India i.e. NPCI released a video in which people were alerted to avoid such fraud.

Ways to avoid fraud- (1) Do not share your debit card and credit card information with anyone. (2) Do not share the details of OTP, Unified Payment Interface ID and PIN on the phone with anyone else. (3) Do not share your banking details on any number to avoid fraud like SIM swap or spoofing. (4) Pay through Secure Payment Gateway. (5) Do not share any transaction details on social media. (6) If there is a transaction or fraud from your bank account, you should immediately inform the concerned bank.

IDBI Bank has started WhatsApp banking, these facilities will be available in the muft sitting at home – IDBI Bank has started banking service on WhatsApp for its customers. All customers will now be able to get basic banking services easily through the facility. To take advantage of WhatsApp banking, the customer has to save the bank’s WhatsApp number in his phone and give his WhatsApp number to the bank. After this, the bank will start this facility on your WhatsApp number. To start this facility on your number, you will have to contact the bank.
