New Delhi: The weather has again started showing its effect. While rain has made the weather pleasant in many states, people have also got relief from the scorching heat. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the monsoon will be active in the states of Central India for one week from Saturday. The monsoon will be active in Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and East Rajasthan in central India. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that heavy rains are likely to occur over the next 3-4 days in the sub-Himalayan region of West Bengal, Sikkim, and several areas of northeast India.

The intensity of rainfall is expected to increase in Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Telangana, Maharashtra and Gujarat from 12 September. There is also a possibility of heavy rain fall in these areas during next 3-4 days. According to the Meteorological Department in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Vidarbha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Telangana, Coastal Andhra, Coastal Ketka, Kerala, Rayalaseema, Konkan and Goa. Heavy rain is expected.

Yellow alert in Rajasthan, torrential rains may occur in these districts on September 15
According to the Meteorological Department, the day and night temperatures in Rajasthan are currently 2 to 4 degrees Celsius higher than normal. On Friday, Sriganganagar was the hottest region across the state, recording a temperature of 40.4 degrees Celsius, while Bikaner, Churu, Barmer, and Jaisalmer were also witnessing an increase in temperature. Around September 15, there can be a round of rain in the state once again. The Meteorological Department said that due to the activation of a system, there may be rain in many areas of the state. The Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow Alert for Bhilwara, Banswara, Chittor, Dungarpur, Jhalwad, Kota, Rajsamand, Pratapgarh, Sirohi, Udaipur, Barmer, Pali, and Jalore on September 15, showing rain with thunderstorms.
