Google will save people from online scams

New Delhi: Google is in the news for the latest edition of its Safer India event. At the event, the company talked about various aspects of the safety of internet users. At the event, Google said that it is bringing a new campaign to protect online transactions. Under this campaign, Google will make people aware of the scams that target them. Google says that it had 700 million online users in India as of August 25.

Meanwhile, the company has also cited a Norton report, which states that there have been 18 million cyber attacks in India in the first 5 months of 2022. Apart from this, many people have spoken of getting fake electricity board messages and job-related messages. According to the report, users can be harmed by clicking on such messages. It has been said in the report that it has become difficult to track such scammers. Not only this but Google’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) programs are also not able to thwart this threat.

Difficult to stop scammers
Let us tell you that Google claims to suspend the accounts of these scammers and prevent these entries, but still it is difficult to control such incidents. Therefore, the company wants to educate people about this. For this, she is bringing such ad campaigns which make them aware of this. This add-on asks people to be careful when they receive such messages on the phone.

Google sends security alerts
Online scams also include people who accidentally share their payment codes with scammers, allowing the scammers to steal money from their bank accounts. Google says it protects 200,000 users on Google Pay from scammers by sending them security alerts every day.

Child Protection Website launched
