First arrest in Greta Thunberg toolkit case, police from Bengaluru arrested Climate Activist Disha Ravi

In fact, climate change activist Greta Thunberg tweeted a toolkit (document) that allegedly conspired to surround the Modi government and defame India over the peasant movement. In this case, now Cyber ​​Unit of Delhi Police’s Special Cell has arrested Disha Ravi, a 21-year-old climate activist from Bangalore.

According to the police, Disha Ravi will be produced in a Delhi court today. Disha is alleged to have edited a toolkit designed for cyber strikes on the January 26 tractor rally, added some things to it, and circulated it. Police said that some more names have come on the radar in this case and many others will be arrested soon.

Disha Ravi is also a member of the founders of the Friday for Future Campaign. On 4 February, Delhi Police registered a case regarding this toolkit shared by Greta. This is the first arrest in a tool kit case. Disha has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mount Carmel College. According to sources, she was working from home when the Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested her.

Disha Ravi’s father is an athletics coach in Mysuru, while mother is a housewife. Let us know that on 4 February, the Cybercrime Cell of Delhi Police had filed an FIR under sections 124A, 120A and 153A of the Indian Penal Code for defamation, criminal conspiracy and promoting hatred.

After the FIR lodged by the police, Greta Thunberg once again tweeted in support of the farmers. He wrote in the tweet, ‘I am with the peaceful protest of the farmers. Any hate, threat cannot change it. Please tell that Greta Thanberg tweeted in support of the farmers’ demonstration. In this tweet, he wrote, ‘We are united towards the farmers’ movement in India’.
