New Delhi: Preparations for Diwali have been completed, but this time the enthusiasm will be a bit lackluster due to the Corona epidemic. Diwali cannot be imagined without firecrackers, but due to corona and lockdown rules, some states have banned the sale and purchase of firecrackers. Rajasthan was the first state to impose such a ban. On Friday, Karnataka also imposed a ban. The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa. Announcing this, Yeddyurappa himself said that the government has to take this decision because of Corona. An official order will be issued soon. Earlier, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim and Delhi have taken similar decisions. He has also appealed to the people in Tamil Nadu not to light firecrackers. While children are disappointed with this, a section in states like Delhi are also happy, because Diwali firecrackers increase the level of pollution here many times. Similarly, people associated with the cracker industry are also not happy.
