New Delhi: The cases of corona infection in the country are showing slow but increasing once again. In such a situation, experts have issued a warning saying that people who have taken both doses of Corona Vaccine also need to be alert. Research done by The Lancet has revealed that people who have taken both doses of the corona vaccine are also getting infected with corona. Not only this, the risk of getting infected by other family members from such people is 38 percent. Research has found that if each member of the family has taken both doses of the corona vaccine, then the risk of infection from each other decreases from 38 to 25 percent.

Research has found that a total of 440 families were tested for PCR in London and Bolton from September 2020 to September 2021. Research has found that people who have taken both doses of the corona vaccine have a very low risk of getting infected with corona, but it has failed to provide complete protection. Professor Ajit Lalwani of Imperial College London, who is associated with the research, said that people who have had both doses of the vaccine are also getting infected. In such a situation, till everyone is not vaccinated, the danger of corona will remain.

Experts say that the risk of corona increases even more during the cold season. Most people stay indoors during the winter season. In such a situation, the risk of spreading corona infection from each other also increases. At such a time, it becomes necessary for every member of the household to get the corona vaccine.

Co-researcher Dr. Anika Singanayagam says that this research has made it clear that why the delta variant of the corona is increasing rapidly. A large population of the world is still away from the vaccine. Even in countries where free vaccines are being installed, people are not coming forward. In such a situation, the danger of corona has definitely reduced but it is not over. In such a situation, people who have applied both doses of corona should adopt other precautions including social distancing, wearing masks, washing hands frequently with soap.
