91% of new customers are from small towns and towns
Amazon India Vice President Manish Tiwari said that this has been the biggest sale within 48 hours of Amazon’s 7-year history. During this period, about 1.1 lakh sellers have received orders. Of these, 66 per cent orders have come from small cities. Please tell that there are 6.5 lakh sellers on Amazon’s platform. During the sale, there has been a tremendous increase in the number of new customers on Amazon. 91 percent of these new customers are from small cities and towns. About 66 per cent of the new prime members are from small cities.

10,000 sellers become millionaires in Flipkart’s cell
On Amazon’s platform, something similar has been seen, as was seen on Flipkart. Walmart-owned Flipkart’s Billion Days Sale has started on October 16. Flipkart said that 50 percent of the new customers shopping on its platform on the first day was from Tier-3 cities. In the 3 days of SAIL so far, more than 70 sellers have become millionaires and about 10,000 sellers become millionaires. Similarly, on 16 October 2020, 30 percent of orders were received from new customers on the first day of Snapdeal’s sale. 90 percent of these orders came from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. However, no company has given the number of orders received so far.
