Mumbai: In the wake of the devastating landslide that struck Kerala’s Wayanad district, South Indian actors Chiranjeevi Konidela and his son, Ram Charan, have stepped forward to support the victims. Following Allu Arjun’s generous donation of Rs. 25 lakh, the father-son duo has contributed a substantial amount of Rs. 1 crore to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Chiranjeevi’s Heartfelt Message

Chiranjeevi expressed profound sorrow over the tragic loss of lives caused by the recent landslide. In a heartfelt message, he stated, “Deeply distressed by the devastation and loss of hundreds of precious lives in Kerala due to nature’s fury in the last few days. My heart goes out to the victims of the Wayanad tragedy. Charan and I together are contributing Rs. 1 Crore to the Kerala CM Relief Fund as a token of our support to the victims. My prayers for the recovery of all those in pain!”

Allu Arjun’s Compassionate Gesture

Allu Arjun, known for his love for Kerala, expressed his sadness over the Wayanad landslide. He announced a donation of ₹25 lakh to the Kerala CM Relief Fund, emphasizing the importance of supporting rehabilitation efforts. His message on social media read, “I am deeply saddened by the recent landslide in Wayanad. Kerala has always given me so much love, and I want to do my bit by donating ₹25 lakh to the relief fund. The Devastating Landslide

The tragedy unfolded when heavy rains triggered a massive landslide in Wayanad, burying homes and disrupting local communities. As the death toll reached 360 and with 206 people still missing, rescue teams, including the Indian Army and NDRF, are working tirelessly under harsh conditions. Six days after the disaster, they continue to search for survivors trapped in collapsed buildings, hoping to bring relief to the affected families.
