India-China meeting to be held again next week
New Delhi:
Finger-4 is also behind Chinese troops in the Pangong area on the Line of Actual Control in Eastern Ladakh. Indian soldiers have also come back here. According to sources, Chinese troops moved from Finger-4 to Finger-5 on Thursday evening, although some Chinese soldiers are still present on the hilltop. It is believed that by tomorrow morning these soldiers will also return. Similarly, Indian soldiers have also come back from Finger-4 to Finger-3.

Amazing retreat of Indian soldiers
The withdrawal of Indian troops is a surprising step as Finger-4 has always been under India’s control. Indian soldiers have been patrolling from Finger 4 to Finger-8. According to India, LAC passes through Finger-8 and India claims Finger-8. Chinese soldiers came and stood at Finger-4 and then Indian soldiers were also in front of them.

Disengagement involved the withdrawal of both armies
Now under disengagement, Chinese soldiers have gone from Finger-4 to Finger-5 and Indian soldiers have also lagged behind. An official said that it is a temporary step right now. In the condition of disengagement, both countries had decided that they would retreat from where the soldiers of both the countries are face to face. Under this, disabilities have been made on Galvan, Gogra, Hot Spring Area and Finger-4.

Disability completed in PP-14, 15 and 17A
Disengagement has been completed in Galvan, Gogra and Hot Spring areas. The soldiers of the two countries are now about 2-3 kilometers away from each other. The buffer zone is created here. However, the real challenge remains. The real task is to reduce the troops deployed on the war footing and deploy the cannon, tanks, missiles, fighter jets and other military equipment behind the LAC in normal places. For this, the two countries will again have a core commander level meeting next week. A senior official said that the disengagement that has just taken place is a very small step. This was raised so that the soldiers of the two countries would not remain face to face and the possibility of any violent skirmish could be avoided.

Chinese soldiers also removed from Gogra post area
Today, disengagement has also been completed near Gogra post area i.e. PP-17A. From here, Chinese troops have gone back about one and a half kilometers and in the same way Indian soldiers have also retreated. Three of the four faceoff disabilities have been completed. On PP-14 in Galvan, PP-15 in Hot Spring and PP-17A in Gogra. According to sources, verification of PP-14 and PP-15 has also been completed. Both countries have verified that according to the talks, the soldiers have left behind. While verification is yet to be done in Gogra.

A large number of soldiers are deployed as well as cannon, tanks, missiles, rocket launchers, fighter jets as part of war level preparations. The artillery deployed only 3-4 km from the LAC can target 40 to 50 km.

These issues will be discussed in the meeting
A senior official told that there will be talk on reversing these in the Corps Commander level meeting. The first phase was of disengagement i.e. soldiers face-to-face go backward and buffer thrust becomes. The second phase will be the descalation, in which it will talk on the timeline to reduce deployment. An official said that the disengagement that has just taken place is just a small thing. This has been done so that the soldiers of the two countries do not remain face-to-face and then do not face any violent skirmish. It will take several months to bring the heavily deployed troops to normalcy. He said that there is no talk in the Dipsang area right now because the soldiers are not face to face here. The deployment of troops from both sides has been increased here. There will also be talk on reducing the large deployment of troops here at the Corps Commander level meeting.
